Satellite Shout-Out From All Over

Posted on August 2, 2013

The AMSAT News Service Weekly Bulletin ANS-209 mentioned my “Building the Slapshot Antenna” article which appeared in the Spring issue of  CQ VHF Magazine.

The shout-out appears near the end of the bulletin in the “Satellite Shorts From All Over” section.

Produced weekly by a volunteer corps of editors, the AMSAT News Service Weekly Bulletin is a valuable tool for planning amateur radio satellite and International Space Station monitoring activities like.

Volunteer editor EMike McCardel, KC8YLD responded to the email I sent thanking them for the nod.

“I and the other editors enjoy putting the newsletter together and are always interested in any related material,” his email said. “Feel free to pass on anything of interest, especially tidbits that haven’t been hashed around in other news feeds.”

New issues are available every Monday.
