Monitoring Times September Issue Out Now

Posted on August 26, 2011

The September 2011 issue of Monitoring Times Magazine is now available.

The issue features a cover story on Micro-Broadcasting.

Other articles include a story about KC7OEK, an amateur radio club started in a Junior High School in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) radio system for weather alerts.

Sticking with the NOAA theme, this issue also features my article on receiving maritime radiofax transmissions called: Hunting Seagulls: Monitoring and Decoding WEFAX Broadcasts.

The issue also features the usual informative columns and round-ups of frequency listings, news and other monitoring opportunities with a focus on radio hobbyism.

Find a copy at your local newsstand or order direct from the publisher. Subscribe to MT Express and you can receive a PDF version of the magazine plus extras.
