QSL Arrives from Radio Romania

Posted on August 3, 2011

A QSL card arrived last week confirming my reception of Radio Romania International (RRI) on June 6, 2011 at 00:22 UTC on 7385 kHz.

The card features a full color image of The Cotroceni Palace by artist Vitalie Butescu and is one of twelve offered by RRI this year.

View the other RRI QSL cards available here on their website. A feedback form is available for reception reports.

The card arrived through standard postal mail, in an envelope bearing four Romanian Stamps.

A program schedule, station sticker and personalized letter accompanied the QSL card.

In part the letter states:

“We also extend to you the invitation to join Radio Romania International Listener’s Club. Radio Romania International boasts  a club policy that rewards faithful listeners with diplomas at the end of the 1st, 3rd, 5th and 10th year. We also offer old-timer labels at the end of the 2nd and 4th year.”
